Flash Airlines plane crashes

The following are significant events involving the airline or its subsidiares. The numbered events are those involving at least one airline passenger death where the aircraft flight had a direct or indirect role, and where at least one of the dead passengers was not a stowaway, hijacker, or saboteur. The airline was in operation from 1995 to 2004.

  1. 3 January 2004; Flash Airlines 737-300; SU-ZCF; flight 604; near Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt: The aircraft was on a nonscheduled domestic flight from Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo, Egypt. The aircraft crashed into the Red Sea shortly after takeoff in an area of the sea about nine miles (15 km) south of the city. All 135 passengers and 13 crew members were killed.
