BWIA West Indies Airways plane crashes

BWIA, which also operated as BWIA International Airways, ceased operations at the end of 2006 and many of its former employees were transferred to Caribbean Airlines. The airline had no crashes or serious or significant airline safety events between 1970 and 2006.
